There's a little bird
that somebody sends

누군가가 세상으로 보낸
작은 새가 있습니다,
거친 바람 속에서 살기위해
이 세상에 보내진거에요. 바람을 안고 태어나
바람 속에서 잠이 들었지요.
이 작은 새는 누군가가
세상으로 보낸것입니다.
새는 가볍고 연약하고,
하늘 빛을 띈 깃털을 가졌습니다.
너무 갸냘프고 우아하여,
햇살이 스며드는듯 했습니다. 바람 속에서는 사는
이 작은 새는,
누군가가 세상으로
내려보낸 작은 새였습니다. 그 작은 새는 사람 눈이 닿지 않는
하늘 높이 날아다닙니다. 오직 단 한번만
그 새가 땅에 닿을 때가 있습니다.
그건 작은 새가,
이 작은 새가,
작은 새가 죽을 때 뿐이랍니다.
